Yeah New Stamps!

Hello Everyone, Sorry it's been a while since I last posted...I have started a new job that is keeping me busy. It's fun and challenging at the same time. I wanted to share with you some new stamps I just got and I can;t wait to use them. I have lots of ideas and can't wait to get started. Here are some pic of my new stamps.

So the stamps I got on the left are from Lawn Fawn. 1. Party Animal, 2 Booyah, Happy Harvest, 3. Holiday Party Animal, and 4. Thankful Mice.

The stamps on the right are from Gerda Steiner Designs. I am so excited to make cards with these cuties! 1. Happy Fall, 2. Deck The Halls, and 3. Peekin' Pumpkin Kitty.

The holiday are coming and it's better to get an earlier start than later start. I think I might be somewhat on the later start. But all is well... still trying to get settled in my new home and get everything in order. I am hoping that will happen very quickly. Look forward for some new creations with these cuties!

Here are a few video's I found really fun and gets me excited about creating! Enjoy and happy stamping!

Created three different cards with one stamp!

Hello everyone, I have three cards for you using the same stamp. I just love this stamp by Magnolia "Sister and Brother". I have to say that, yes the title of this stamp is "Sister and Brother." I also used it as a couple stamp as well.

In the first card on the left. I colored these cuties with copic markers. the clouds and the grass were also colored with copic. The tree die cute is from Memory Box , "Small Alder Tree." The die cute I used to frame the image is from Spell Binders "Labels Eight." I gave this card to my husband and he liked it.

This middle card is again with Magnolia "Brother and Sister" stamp. This time I used Tim Holtz distressed inks. I loved how it turned out and I used it for the inside of the card.

The third card, I used Tim Holtz distressed inks as well. I also used Spellbinders Nestabilities "Labels eight" die, The Sentiment is from Hero Arts CL722 Poly clear stamps. Christmas theme.  I also used Memento black ink as well as Recollections "Adhesive Faux Pearls.

I started a new job this week and am in training, so I have not been able to post the cards I have made. I am hoping to set up a routine so that I will be able to most every two to three days. Thank you so much for checking me out and following me.

     Happy crafting my friends!

Here are Three videos using the same stamp set by Lawn Fawn "Joy To The woods" Clear Stamps and Dies.

Adding Homemade flowers to your cards!

Hello everyone, I wanted to show you some beginnings of cards I had made a while back. I thought they turned out amazing and really wanted to show you. At the time I was also learning how to make my own flowers. I still have yet to perfect this skill...but am still very interested in it.

So let me tell you about these two beautiful little girls! The one on the left is by Elizabeth Bell! " Beary Big Hugs". Spellbinder dies," Classic Ovals (LG) "and "Floral Ovals." I used wax paper with the "Floral Ovals." I thought it would give it a different softer look. I colored her with Tim Holtz distressed markers. The flowers were made with...Cheery Lynn Designs " Miniature Rose" and EK Success "Retro Flower" (Med). I used Ranger "Glossy Accents" to glue the flowers together. I also used Stampendouse Frantage "Chunky White". For the little raised white dots around the little girls. Along with the frantage I used, Rangers "Liquid Pearls Dimensional Pearlescent paint, pink and blue.

The second Picture with the little girl holding the balloon. I used Magnolia's, " Tilda with Balloon." Everything I used it just the same as the card on the left.

Hope you enjoy the video's and the cards. Happy Card Making!!!

From my past!

Hello everyone, I thought I would post a card that I made a few years ago. This cute stamp is by Elizabeth Bell, from "Bells'n Whistles." The First card I colored this cutie with Tim Holtz "Distressed Markers on "Arches Aquarelle Watercolor paper" Hot Pressed 140lbs. I used the DSP from "DCWV- Holiday Collection The Winter Matstack." The Happy Holidays and the little girls was stamped with, Ranger Archivall Ink, Jet Black. I find that this is an ink that does not smear at all. I love it and use it on almost all my cards that I water color. I used the "Recollections 65lb -"Cape Cod" blue paper. I made this card into a fold out card. So much fun! Not sure how it would turn out but I really like the feeling of it.

The second picture is the same. I just matted it on the "cape cod" paper and used Spellbinders "Classic Oval (LG)" die cuts as well as "Floral Ovals" die cute. This was a very special card that I still have in my basket. I used a layering technique that made the image 3D. It was a lot of time and effort but the results are incredible and it steps up you cards to a whole new level. I enjoy doing this but it does take time. I used this "OLBA" transparent Glue. as well as it's applicators.

Enjoy this videos that show you how to create your own!

Happy card making!

These little girls are adorable!

Hello my friends, I have a few cards to show you. I am finding my self really enjoying creating cards with people on them! They are so much fun!

This cute little card is created with the adorable stamp set by C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie "Ready For the Rain" Along with the word stamp by C.C. Designs "Valentine's" by Pollycraft. The paper I used was...Hot Pressed 90lbs Fabriano Studio Watercolor. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink Pad to stamp the sentiment and his distressed markers to color in the little girl. The DSP is from the 6"x 6" pad of paper by colorbok "Hootenanny I picked up at Walmart a while back.

The next card I created, was used with another stamp set by C.C. Designs Swiss Pixie "Cupid." Again, I used the DSP "Hootenanny" and the Water color paper by Fabriano. I also colored this little cute with Tim Holtz Distressed markers. The die cute "For you" is from Lawn Fawn's new release "For You." I used the camouflage technique as well.

This third card is created with another C.C.Desgins "Rain" by Pollycraft. The sentement is from "Valentines" by Pollycraft as well. I used Tim Holtz Distressed ink and "Momento" Black ink for the sentiment.

Now my last card, I made with a "Magnolia" stamp "Here I'm Tilda. As well as the stamp ,My Friend, from "Technique Tuesday". I only stamped the "friend" part of the stamp. I also used Lawn Fawn's "Hello" die. I love using the word die cuts. I feel as though they add so much to the card! I also used their " Speech Bubble Border lawn die. I colored this cutie with again Tim Holtz distressed inks and used the same 90lbs hot pressed "Fabriano" which I absolutely love! I also used

I had so much fun making all of these cards. I just started a new job and I can't wait to get home and work on more cards. Yep...I am addicted! It makes me happy to make them and the recipient of the card is glad as well.

I leave you with another awesome card video that I just love and watch many times. Enjoy!

Happy card making!

School is starting!

Hello!

So school is starting for my three kids. One is in Kindergarten, another is in First Grade, and my oldest is in fourth grade. I am so excited for them! We recently moved to Washington from California and they are starting a brand new school.

So to get ready for this new adventure I am sharing with you these two stamps I found on C.C. Design. They were created by Polly Craft stamps. The little boy holding the pencil is "Pollycraft Brains" and the little girl holding the pencil is " Pollycraft Sparky".

I colored my little girl and boy with Distressed Markers by Tim Holtz. I also used Lawn Fawn's "Milo's ABC's" and Spellbinders die cut "A2 Curved Borders One."

I had a loot of fun making these cards!

I have also included a wonderful video done by Prairie Paper and Ink (AmyR) featuring these two cuties!
